The Z SC5815 is a 15-tube heat pipe solar collector used to convert an existing high-pressure electric geyser into a solar water heating system. The technology uses evacuated glass tubes with a vacuum insulation, allowing for high efficiency even on cloudy or cold days.

Key Features

• Each tube consists of an inner and outer glass tube with a vacuum in between. A selective coating on the inner tube absorbs solar radiation and converts it into heat.
• Inside each evacuated tube is a copper heat pipe containing a small amount of liquid. The solar heat causes this liquid to vaporize and rise to the tip of the heat pipe, located in the manifold.
• The heat is transferred from the heat pipe's tip to a water-glycol mixture circulating through the manifold. This heated liquid is then pumped to your electric geyser, which acts as a storage tank
