This design by Stone Arrow is inspired by patterns found on the Tapa cloth which is made in several different Pacific Islands. Tapa is a cloth made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree, which is beaten to form a sheet and decorated with traditional symbols.
A simple and lightweight design, these are cut from an up-cycled bottle using diamond tools and finished with handmade recycled Sterling Silver hooks.
Stone Arrow are a boutique artisan business that create exquisite jewellery inspired by the beautiful nature of Aotearoa New Zealand. Each piece is reimagined with authenticity and purpose, combining the traditional and the innovative whilst using sustainable and repurposed materials.
