Construction & Design

To achieve maximum airflow, the ARM Intake utilizes a massive 6" inverted high-flow conical filter with 144 sq. in. of surface area. Air is channeled through an oversized 4" intake tube constructed from 6-ply, high-temperature reinforced silicone. This design pushes the filter deeper into the cooler section of the engine bay for improved efficiency.

Unlike the restrictive OEM airbox, which mutes the natural turbo sounds of the EA839, the ARM Intake removes all unnecessary sound suppression. The result: a more immersive, performance-driven driving experience.

OEM vs. ARM Intake

The ARM B9 S4/S5 Intake replaces the stock airbox with a wrinkle-black coated aluminum heat shield, helping block hot engine air while channeling cool air directly from the OEM snorkel. The intake tube tapers down to 72mm for seamless compatibility with both the OEM turbo inlet and the ARM upgraded turbo inlet.

This ensures your turbo is consistently supplied with cool, dense air—supporting stronger performance, quicker spool, and an aggressive induction note.
