Small Fan Earrings By Buzz CorenMostly self taught, Buzz creates multi layered wood jewelry in his shop in Burnsville NC. Raw tulip poplar veneer is cut, dyed, dried, pressed, sorted, sequenced, stacked, glued into blocks about 300+ thick, cut into smaller pieces, sanded, cut into yet smaller pieces, refined, drilled, sanded, finished and sanded again. There are about 50 steps in all. Earrings are approximately 1. 5" x . 5". Ear wires are stainless (surgical) steel.
