A wonderfully elegant and expressive nose combines a plethora of floral wisps with those of anise and clove- inflected red currant scents. The rich and nicely voluminous middle weight flavors exude a bracing minerality on the refined, delineated and sneaky long finish that flashes outstanding depth. This lovely effort is textbook Combe d’Orveau and a wine that should age well over the next 12 to 15 years.
