Please note:  These are not white bright sterling silver.  The sterling silver has been chemically treated to give it a blackened appearance.  Subsequent to the treatment, they are polished to give them a gunmetal gleam and to bring the higher surfaces to a bright silver to contrast with the darkened areas.  This is a very popular treatment that gives the earrings a rich, alluring, mysterious look!
