Gibson Fireside Smallpipes are designed to be flexible and responsive instruments for indoor piping, small performances, and ensemble use.

Available in the key of A or Bb, Firesides can comfortably play alongside a wide range of other instruments, offering increased versatility compared to Highland pipes.

The chanter and reeds can be swapped to convert between keys, and each drone may be individually turned on or off using its regulator stock, allowing players to shape the sound to the setting.

African Blackwood is a dense, traditional wood commonly used in bagpipe making. It produces a focused, clear character that is brighter than Cocobolo while remaining warmer than poly.

These Blackwood Firesides are available with brass, stainless steel, imitation ivory, or imitation horn ferrules.

Each set is supplied fully set up with reeds and tied into a Bannatyne synthetic bag.
