(from the Chassagne side). This is even more restrained and mildly reduced but not so much as to completely overshadow the aromas of ripe citrus and white floral nuances. Once again there is excellent richness to the caressing yet overtly powerful broad-shouldered flavors that aren’t massive though they certainly don’t lack for substance, all wrapped in a lemony, palate coating and impressively long finish where a hint of wood slowly emerges. This is a very intense and tightly wound wine at present and one that is going to require at least some patience.
