The famous Antics “Natures Kiwi” now in a puppet and with authentic Kiwi sound.
The kiwi is a unique and curious bird: it cannot fly, has loose, hair-like feathers, strong legs and no tail. It is an international icon of New Zealand and unofficial national emblem.
Kiwi are ratites. The closest relatives to kiwi today is the elephant bird from Madagascar. They are also related to emus and cassowaries of Australia, and the extinct moa of New Zealand. Kiwi can live for between 25 and 50 years.
This children’s toy includes some of the kiwi’s iconic features such as its spiky brown feathers, long pale bill and short legs. It makes a lovely gift for little ones.
