• PCB layer: Fibre-reinforced plastic with copper print, protected by a silk screen to prevent corrosion, enabling reliable swipe and capacitive input.

What about the Camera Control Button?
We’ve completely re-engineered it. The new triple-shot surround housing is moulded into the case itself, adding stiffness and durability so the button can withstand years of use. Inside, a 6000-series aluminium frame reinforces strength while a toughened glass top delivers a smooth, hard-wearing press surface.

The key to responsiveness is the silicone diaphragm. This thin, flexible membrane sits beneath the button, flexing in both directions to transmit force to the sensor and return tactile feedback to your finger. That’s why light taps, half-presses, full clicks, long holds and swipes all feel consistent, crisp and reliable.
