  The Axial design team had two priorities in mind when developing the SCX30 RC crawler platform. It had to be small and it had to be high-performance. As the ready-to-run SCX30 Jeep Wrangler JLU RTR proves, the team accomplished its mission. At 1/30 scale, the Jeep JLU is the perfect size for crawling on a desktop or over outdoor dirt and rock trails. It also delivers exciting scale looks and oversized performance for a very affordable price.

  The capabilities of the SCX30 Jeep JLU are like nothing you’d expect from a sub-micro crawler. Its angled skid plate, for example, lets you slide easily over challenging obstacles - and is a feature usually found only in competition crawlers. Ramped axle housings and high clearance links also help to avoid dragging and hangups.

  Performance on the rocks gets another boost from the climbing stability of the SCX30 platform’s forward weight bias. And it has plenty more to offer, from damped shocks, full ball bearings, and a powerful Axial 88T motor to dependable Spektrum electronics that are mounted low in the chassis for the best center of gravity.

  Surrounding that trail-ready engineering is a detailed ABS hard body that delivers amazing scale realism for its compact size. An authentic recreation of the full-size, 4-door Unlimited truck, the SCX30 Jeep Wrangler JLU body is complemented by front and rear LEDs and officially licensed Yokohama Geolandar X-MT tyres on Black Rhino Atlas wheels. The soft compound tyres with foam inserts provide all the traction needed for outdoor action on rocks and dirt or for crawling across a desktop, table, or cluttered floor.
