The HAY Slit Table High is a taller version of the original Slit Table. With a smaller diameter top (35 cm) and a taller base, it is perfect for 'nesting' with other Slit tables or simply for use on its own. The extra height is particularly useful when using to the side of a sofa, as it is easier to reach from over an arm. Slit Table High's minimal form would also look great when paired with a focal item such as a decorative vase.

The design of the slit table is inspired by Origami. By folding the plate frame underneath the tabletop to form the table legs - the art of folding paper is represented in steel. In doing so a slit emerges where the two edges meet, thus giving the table its name. This process creates a beautifully simple, yet distinctive form.

Slit Table High is available in white, light yellow or black powder-coated paint finishes as well as distinctive mirror and polished brass finishes.
