This is a wonderful 1950s wool suit with walking coat and slim skirt. It's made of a very nice red wool tweed. The coat has a knit wool lining and is very warm. The pockets are lined with red satin. The skirt is unlined. It has a size metal zipper. These pieces would be great separates!
The condition is good, with a couple flaws to mention - the coat has a moth hole on the front left under the pocket. I have pictured it. It would be an easy repair and it is backed with the red knit lining so it's not very obvious. There is a repair on the inside of the left sleeve (shown). No flaws on the skirt.
