The Remi trousers are a classic unisex shape, made from hand dyed indigo produced in the 500+ year old Kofar Mata Dye pits of Kano, Nigeria. The beauty of these items is that each piece is unique and the hand dying process provides beautiful depths of variation in the indigo, from one piece to the next. The elasticated waistband, cotton drawstring and roomy fit make these perfect for play and everyday wear.

The striking nature of this natural indigo dye shines through when paired with a simple white tee or with the matching shirt for a bold colour block outfit.

Please note that sizing labels may appear differently inside garments. eg. Size 2y may have a size label that reads 2y or 2-4y. This is the same garment size and you will not receive the wrong item. 

It is recommended to wash dark colours separately and to dry out of bright sunlight if you wish the intensity of the dye to remain. However these natural Indigo dyes also wear in and fade beautifully, unique to the wearer over time and this is another aspect of this hand crafted dye that we love.
