Welcome to Lulu Boop Vintage — where carefully sourced vintage and antique garments are preserved, reimagined, and offered a second life. Each piece is unique, carrying the quiet beauty of its past and waiting to be worn again with intention.

A beautiful pair of authentic Edwardian antique cotton bloomers, dating to approximately 1905–1915.

These elegant open drawers were worn as part of a woman’s undergarment set beneath long skirts and dresses during the Edwardian period. They are made from fine lightweight cotton batiste or lawn, a breathable fabric commonly used for high-quality lingerie of the era.

The bloomers feature a classic open-crotch design, this one’s on the back, typical of antique drawers, allowing ease of wear beneath the complex layered clothing of the time.

The legs are finished with a stunning broderie anglaise embroidered hem, showcasing delicate floral eyelet motifs and scalloped edges. Above the embroidery sits a narrow entre-deux insertion band, a refined lingerie sewing technique often found in Edwardian garments.

The waist has a drawstring closure, allowing the piece to adjust comfortably to multiple sizes. @ buttons on the sides.

Despite their age of over 100 years, the bloomers remain a beautiful wearable antique textile, perfect for collectors, historical fashion enthusiasts, or modern styling.

They can be worn today as:

• romantic vintage lingerie

• summer bloomers or lounge wear

• layered under sheer dresses

• styled with corset covers or camisoles

• bohemian festival or cottagecore fashion

* Perfect beach attire.

Pieces like these are increasingly rare, especially with such beautiful hand-embroidered broderie anglaise hems.

Condition

Very good antique condition.

Signs of age consistent with a garment over a century old may include:

• light wear

• small age marks

The embroidery and construction remain strong and beautiful.

Fit & Sizing Notes

Vintage and antique garments do not follow modern sizing standards. Many were handmade or custom-tailored for one individual. Size tags, when present, are for reference only — measurements are essential. I’m always happy to assist with fit questions.

Condition & Care

All pieces are vintage or antique and may show gentle signs of age

Pre-1930s fabrics (silk, muslin, lace) are delicate and should be worn with care

Garments are best worn with ease, not tension

Edwardian & Victorian considerations:

Corset-era pieces often have very small waists with broader shoulders or hips

Sleeves are frequently designed as ¾ length

Buttons may vary due to age and period repairs
