1950's utility or workwear cap. Fabric is a khaki twill on the outside with a tan flannel lining. Front brim is 2 7/8 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 12 inches, not counting the drop down flaps.

Center has a stamp "Hercules Our Own Trade Mark" and the back has the size tag of 7 1/4. Sears & Roebuck carried the Hercules Brand as you can see in the last photo from the 1946 Sears Catalog.

It does not show much wear but there is some soiling. The interior lining is slightly soiled, along the back where the ear covers fold is a line of soiling and some spots on the crown.

Inner circumference is 22 inches with the flaps up and 22 1/2 with the flaps down.
