Caperton. This medal should be distinguished from the Second Haitian Campaign Medal, which was awarded to Navy and Marine Corps members who served in Haiti between April 1, 1919 - June 15, 1920. For those that served during both time periods, a campaign clasp and a Service Star are worn on the First Haitian Campaign Medal. Both medals are not authorized to be worn at the same time.
