The Patzun huipil is usually a shade of red and is hand-woven on a back-strap loom often with small vertical stripes. The daily use huipil has colorful flowers hand-embroidered around the neck.  Women often wear decorative aprons as part of their "traje" (outfit).  The ceremonial huipil has a Mayan Calendar design.  They also like to wear beautiful turquoise necklaces.

Each outfit includes:

• Handwoven doll "huipil" 
• "Corte" (skirt) with "jaspe" (ikat) designs
• Colorful sash "faja" (belt)
