The Berhampur Phoda Kumbha Saree, popularly known as Berhampuri Patta, is a traditional handwoven masterpiece from the coastal region of Odisha. These exquisite textiles include sarees, jodas (male attire), dhotis, chaddars, and stoles, all crafted using pure silk yarn in both warp and weft.

A distinctive feature of these sarees is their intricately designed borders (Kumbhas), showcasing motifs such as temples, Katuri, and Taj Mahal patterns. The pallu (Anchal), locally called “Salari Anchal,” is decorated with extra-weft designs, adding to the saree’s elegance and uniqueness.

These handloom products originate from Berhampur, located in the Ganjam district of Odisha, a region renowned for its centuries-old weaving tradition and craftsmanship.
