AITO dyes these pants after they are already sewn. That process gives the black a matte depth that pre-dyed fabric does not reach — the color pools into compressed seam areas and lifts fractionally on the weave surface. The 5% Lycra provides shape recovery without changing how the cotton feels. Regular cut through the seat and thigh, tapering slightly to the ankle. The surface will soften with washing, and the tonal variation between seams and flat surfaces will become more visible over time. That is the point of garment-dye — the pants develop with wear.
