VINTAGE 50s COCKTAIL DRESS

A knockout vintage 50s-60s cocktail dress made of excellent quality sheer organza in a lattice pattern of charcoal gray & ivory. Fitted bodice with full skirt, and a fantastic upper bodice illusion of ivory organza & black lace. Keyhole back with 2 little bow accents, and belt loops (no belt included). Black acetate attached petticoat & bodice lining. The dress closes with a rear metal zipper & a hidden hook & eye under each bow. Can be worn with or without an additional petticoat for fullness (shown with). The organza is synthetic - possibly nylon. No labels found. Check out more details below…

CONDITION:

Very good condition other than a rather large but very faint stain on the front bodice - see last pic for closeup. Otherwise in excellent condition. I have not attempted to remove the stain so it could very well come out with dry cleaning but I can’t be 100% sure.

SIZE:

No size tag. Best fits: XS (0-2 US / 4-6 UK)-->This is a size estimate. Please check measurements below to ensure desired fit. The fabric has no stretch so be sure to leave an inch or so of wiggle room at bust & waist. Mannequin is approx US size 0-2, 34-22. 5-34 / 86. 5-57-86. 5.
