The Radium Engineering 20-0729-FL Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is a complete PCV and CCV oil catch can solution for the Nissan 350Z (Z33), Nissan Skyline V35, and Infiniti G35 V35 with VQ35DE or VQ35HR engines. Both cans mount on a single bracket in the front LH portion of the engine bay, providing a clean, integrated installation that addresses both crankcase ventilation circuits simultaneously.

Important: This kit is NOT compatible with the factory OEM air filter box. An aftermarket intake is required for all fitments. Additional chassis-specific notes apply — see the Notes section below.

PCV Catch Can

The PCV catch can runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake pipe. When intake manifold pressure is near or above atmospheric (under boost or WOT), the PCV check valve closes and this circuit experiences no flow. Under idle, steady-state cruise, and deceleration, the PCV hose experiences metered vacuum — conditions that would normally draw crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge directly into the intake manifold after a high-load run. No inline check valve is required — Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, permitting a direct intake manifold connection.

CCV Catch Can

The CCV catch can runs inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake pipe. At low loads, this circuit sees atmospheric pressure. Under high load (WOT), it experiences high flow from the crankcase into the intake system — conditions that would normally deposit oil and sludge in the air filter intake pipe. The catch can captures these contaminants and routes clean filtered air back into the intake.
