French Floral Print, mid-18th century
Blue backgrounds became especially fashionable in France around 1740–1760, when printers perfected indigo and madder dyeing to create deep blue cottons with red and beige floral trails. The flowing, diagonal design reflects the Rococo taste for rhythm and natural beauty.
Inspired by the original blue version, I have created this new shade — a contemporary homage to the elegance of mid-18th-century French indiennes.
Noble and sophisticated, Anna Catharina Dufström is a tribute to the esteemed Swedish woman who courageously cared for her family. Appreciate this homage to a woman of exquisite poise and majestic strength.
