Eigenschaften:
Helicoil Gewindeeinsätze werden aus rhombisch profiliertem Draht gefertigt. Auf speziellen Wickelmaschinen werden sie zu einer federnden Wendel geformt. Die von der Schraube eingeleiteten Kräfte werden über die Flanken des Helicoil in das Aufnahmegewinde übertragen und gleichmäßiger verteilt, als dies bei einem regulär geschnittenen Gewinde der Fall ist. Es entsteht ein hoch belastbares Gewinde, welches überdies äußerst verschleißfest ist.

Characteristics:

Helicoil thread inserts are made from rhombic profiled wire. They are formed into a springy coil on special winding machines. The forces introduced by the screw are transmitted via the flanks of the helicoil into the receiving thread and distributed more evenly than is the case with a regularly cut thread. The result is a highly resilient thread, which is also extremely wear-resistant.
