For 3rd Wave Specialty coffee lovers, the Cauca Excelso is a beautiful fruit-driven coffee from the Cauca region in Colombia. Citrus freshness, vanilla aromas and a pleasant touch of caramel characterise this coffee. With an SCA score of 84, we recommend preparing it both as an espresso and in the French Press, Chemex or V60 hand filter method.

The Cauca Excelso is particularly suitable for lovers of filter coffee and espresso. For preparation with the hand filter, we recommend 3-4 heaped tablespoons (30-40g), infused gradually. For the double shot in the portafilter we recommend 18g. The coffee can be ordered either in whole beans or directly in the appropriate grind.
