Individually packed and sterile Minisart® SRP syringe filters are optimal for immediate usage whenever sterile filtration or clarification of harsh solvent samples prior to HPLC or GC is needed. The low-binding PTFE membrane is the best option for leachable free filtration. It provides highest chemical compatibility and is suitable for pH values of 1 - 14. For hydrophilic solutions pre-rinsing with a solvent would be necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable for aqueous liquids.
